This Holiday season, come explore our latest display "Historic Sweetscapes: A Gingerbread Journey through Cherokee County" located in the Ken White Main Hall area.
See iconic buildings and spaces of Cherokee County turned into gingerbread works of art by local bakers! Our featured bakers are Whim-Wham Art Farm, Quinland Farms, Bananas and Beehives, Cocos Confections, and Jill’s Cakes and Bakes!
The official opening date for Historic Sweetscapes is Nov. 24. However, guests visiting the History Center can get a sneak peak at some of the displays during the Canton Farmers Market's Shopping by Lantern Light on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Both the McClure Family Bookstore & Museum Shop and the Ken White Main Hall will be open and free to access between 4 - 7 p.m.
All other galleries will be closed that evening.
What was once city hall and then the fire station, this building now hosts Scooped on Main. This gingerbread recreation will be done by Jill's Cakes and Bakes.
