History Cherokee is committed to creating meaningful and complete histories pertaining to Cherokee County’s Black population. The Black History committee is a group of volunteer citizens who provide necessary feedback, ideas, and connections in order to help History Cherokee expand their narratives and become more diverse and representative in their storytelling.

Through educational tools and programming they help to expand History Cherokee’s audience.
