History Cherokee invites you to a tour of Historic Homes on December 11 and 12, 2026 Featuring homes and businesses in historic Ball Ground and complimentary admission to the Cherokee County History Center, this is an event you certainly don't want to miss!
You can choose to tour on Friday evening from 5:30 to 9 p.m., where you’ll enjoy the homes and buildings lit up after dark for a festive glow. Alternatively, explore the sites during the day on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Your ticket is valid for both days with 1 entry into each property on the tour.
The tour locations are walkable, and shuttle buses will be available for your convenience. This event will take place rain or shine.
Tickets will go on sale in late summer!

Volunteers are needed to help with the Tour of Homes. We're looking for docents for each of the properties as well volunteers to help with other aspects of the event. If you are interested in volunteering, follow the link below and we'll follow up with additional information.
