A Gingerbread Journey through Cherokee County

We're excited to share the return of our gingerbread display exhibit! This Holiday season, come see historic buildings turned into gingerbread houses in "Historic Sweetscapes: A Gingerbread Journey through Cherokee County" located in the Ken White Main Hall area.
This year, we're showcasing the work of the following Cherokee County bakers:
- Courtney Courtney, Coco's Confections
- Sara Nader, Le Macaron- Canton GA
- Jessa James, Jessa's Tea Parlor and Kelly Thomason, The Grande
- Cayla Armstrong, Sweet on You
- Christina Dunn, Table For One Ministries
As the bakers prepare for this year's exhibit, revisit the beautiful buildings from the 2024 exhibit when the People's Choice winner was Gresham's Mill by ABC Designs & Woodwork.
Bennett's Store
Located in Salacoa, this iconic building will be made by Banana's + Beehives.

Grande Tea Room
Located in Ball Ground, this classic store front will be remade by Coco's Confections

Jones Building
This historic building in downtown Canton, that recently won a Historic Preservation Award this year, will be remade by Quinland Farms.

Our very own Historic Rock Barn in Canton will be recreated in gingerbread by Every Ounce Counts.
