The campaign to build the Cherokee County History Center raised over $4 million from individuals, families, and businesses who recognized the need for this cultural asset and economic development driver in the community.
While the campaign has ended, the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy and support our mission remains. Consider honoring your commitment to preserving history and enriching our community by sponsoring a named exhibit within the History Center. Your generosity ensures that future generations can continue to benefit from its educational and cultural offerings. Together, let’s build a legacy that endures for years to come.
If you consider supporting History Cherokee, these funds will be used to enhance educational programming and preservation initiatives, ensuring that the rich history of Cherokee County is shared and celebrated throughout the year.
Lee and Brittani share a love for historic renovation and real estate investment. Together they have transformed numerous properties throughout Cherokee County, most notably The Wheeler House in Ball Ground. Although now parents to three sons, Lee and Brittani are still active in running The Wheeler House, and they continue to be actively involved in historic preservation.
The couple choose to sponsor the Emerging Businesses Exhibit in the Roberts Family Gallery of the History Center. Their unwavering commitment to community development and their passion for revitalizing historic spaces make them the perfect supporters for this exhibit.
As a relative newcomer to Cherokee County, Bob Hulsey found History Cherokee's vast resources pertinent to understanding the area around them. Our history, as he noted, helps ground "our growing population in the values that make Cherokee County so friendly and welcoming."
Bob and Debra Hulsey are sponsors of the Archaeology Exhibit located in the Carolyn Smith Galt Gallery of the Cherokee County History Center.
Now is the time to leave a lasting legacy while supporting all of the work that History Cherokee does within and beyond our community. See what naming opportunities are available below.
