21st Annual Kentucky Derby Day

History Cherokee is excited to share that our 21st Annual Kentucky Derby Day Fundraiser will take at the Mill on Etowah in Canton on Saturday, May 4! For the past 20 years, Kentucky Derby Day has served as History Cherokee's largest annual fundraising event. The event takes place on the first Saturday in May and features a variety of activities and experiences, including:

• Bourbon tastings
• Hat contest
• Pony pull
• Silent auction
• Gourmet food & specialty cocktails
• & more!

Derby Day is not only a fun event that the community looks forward to every year, it is a crucial event that provides funding for History Cherokee to fulfill its mission and maintain the operation of the Cherokee County History Center.
