1-Year Anniversary
The Cherokee County History Center opened last year on November 5, 2022. Since opening the History Center, we've seen so much support from our community across Cherokee County.
To celebrate, we're offering guests $1 General Admission on Saturday, November 4 & Sunday, November 5! If you've never seen the museum before, or want to bring some friends and family in to see what we're all about, this is a great chance to discover Cherokee County history!
Guided Tours
We're preparing to provide guided tours for scheduled group visits in the near future. This anniversary weekend will be the test launch of our guided tours featuring our docents-in-training!
The duration of each tour is anticipated to be 30 minutes. Pre-registration is not required to attend and guided tours are covered by the cost of admission. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the tour time to ensure you receive the full experience.
